Winter Fun

We saw this Mountain Lion on a drive down river from Salmon. He crossed in front of our truck and bounded up the mountain side. It was pretty cool!

Salmon Kids Ice Fishing Derby:  Erik caught his first "ice fishing" fish.  He was pretty excited. When we got home I asked him what he wanted for lunch.  He said, "Uh...I want my fish!"  So we filleted it and baked it and that was all he would eat for lunch.

What a funny kid!

My nephew Zach had a Traveling Zoo birthday party.  There were spiders, scorpions, frogs, chamellions, lizards and snakes (including a boa constrictor).  At the end, the reptile lady let the kids hold all of the animals.  There were kids and snakes and chaos everywhere. It was crazy!  Erik held a small chamellion and fed a turtle and that was enough for him.  Aidan touched and wanted to see every creepy crawly there.  They are two very different kids!
